Two friends with different gifts and one shared calling: creating joyful, Bible-filled music and media that help children know and praise Jesus.
Our Mission
Good News Guys grew from a shared calling God placed on Vinnie and Jordan's hearts to create joyful, Scripture-rooted content for children. Through music, videos, and live shows, the ministry seeks to point children to Jesus, encourage a love for God's Word, and help families build strong foundations of faith.

September 1, 2021
Combining Vinnie's experience in worship, music, and education with Jordan's background in media and production, they released their first Good News Guys video.
God Opens New Doors
What began with songs and videos grew into albums, longer programs, live events, and opportunities to serve children and families in more places.
Continuing the Mission
Today, Vinnie and Jordan continue following the doors God opens, creating joyful, Bible-filled content that helps children know, love, and praise Jesus.

Vincent "Vinnie" Lindquist
Co-Founder • Worship Leader • Educator • Musician
Vinnie lives in Mid-Michigan with his wife, Shelby, and their two sons. He leads worship at First Church of Christ in Owosso, Michigan.
Vinnie attended Michigan State University, where he played trumpet in the Spartan Marching Band and studied history, political science, and secondary education. He spent several years as a high school teacher before stepping away from the classroom in 2025 to pursue full-time ministry with Good News Guys.
Vinnie loves Jesus and loves singing about Jesus with his kids. He is grateful to see how the Lord is using his voice to help children know and praise Jesus all around the world.
Jordan Sovis
Co-Founder • Director of Media • Producer • Musician
Jordan lives in Mid-Michigan with his wife, Sami Jo, and their daughter and son. He has served as the Director of Media at First Church of Christ in Owosso, Michigan, since 2016.
In 2012, Jordan founded Sovis Productions, a video production company, and has worked in video and audio production for over a decade, earning multiple national awards for his work. In 2025, he stepped back from his production company to follow the calling of full-time ministry with Good News Guys.
Jordan loves Jesus and feels blessed to use his passion, talents, and tools to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with kids and families in fun and unique ways.
What We Believe
God
We believe in one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of the world. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, fully God and fully man. He lived a perfect, sinless life, gave up His life, died on the cross, was buried, and rose again on the third day. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father today.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is God's Word and is the infallible truth.
Salvation
We believe we receive God's grace through faith in Jesus, repentance of sin, and lives devoted to Christ. If you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is only one way to our perfect God — through the saving grace of Jesus' blood.
Our Mission
We believe God instructs us to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19), and our mission is to spread this Good News to kids all over the world.
To God be the glory! We pray that God is glorified through every song, video, and live experience.
